April 28 Bulletin – the media is all over the story!

The mainstream media has now got hold of the protest ride.

Yesterday there was an article published in the Herald Sun which you can see here. If you read through the article you will also note that I have been responding to reader comments…always fun talking to motorists about cyclists!

Today, Channel 9 conducted an interview with myself and a couple fellow cyclists as part of a story which will be included in their Wednesday (29/4) 6:30 news program. Some of you I believe rode right passed us as the interview was happening on the Boulevard!

I had an on air interview on the 3AW drive program hosted by Tom Elliot at 3:45 PM today

Tomorrow morning I have an on air interview with Red Symon  (774 ABC Radio Melbourne).

The Boroondara Leader have a front page spread about the protest ride in this week’s edition.

There is a lot more in the works, both this week and next.

I want to also say THANK YOU to St Kilda Cycling Club for asking their members to attend on Sunday.

Finally, I am pleased announce that Cycling Victoria has just publicly supported the ride and sent messages out via its various communications channels! This is awesome.

All of this combined with a favourable weather forecast augers well for Sunday’s ride.
